I just looked at 13c and d. Beside spellchecking you want me to solve the issues commented in the doc file?
What about untranslated lines in 13c?

I think this would be done in around 2 hours.

Yes, please do everything, that it will be a pretty file to deliver. Honestly I don’t have time to check – so please do everything – the issues, the untranslated lines and whatever else there is.

PS: Can I send you more?

———————-

They are there. Login here: http://translationstop.com/files_PM/Proofread/German/Vetted_German/
You have login on the useful links file I sent long ago.

Or alternatively disconnect and connect again to FTP, they should appear.

Tell me, whose files do you think we can send straight without revetting?
We have Ales, , ,

,
D and .
I think you revetted some files of all of them.

” Dont worry, I have found them. I needed to restart my FTP-server. ”

As I haven´t looked up all files, I can just guess how long it will take but it might be that 2 hours.
Yes, I´m available to check more files.

Heiko

———————-

I’ve got the files.
If it is possible in the case you retire before I report you about the accomplishment of this task, assing me some more files please, if you have them.

Kristof

If you are ready to help with spellchecking, please open a new ticket here on this system. It is quite urgent. If you think you are busy, please let me know as well.

———————-

What about ‘s comments? Can you please send them to me.I see the link, well… for me much better to use Total Commander.
Well, I would ask for Ales and

.
But guy are not ready: string, periods, untranslated lines. I correct always something.
I do maybe small thing for

and Ales… no but I remember one file from

was not clean.
Ales- I think is the best.

M

just said he changed it and it looks all fine now.

Thank you for your correction. Checking with my email and paper records, you are right and the sheet has been updated accordingly.

Karel, if you’re reading this, mea culpa.

I do not know the exact schedule, but I know Karel has started figuring out payments for parts that have been finalized. That is, proofed, spellchecked, etc, etc.

I don’t have the time to check what stages your files are at, but we are all working hard to clear this through before the weekend.

They are they are there. Called “Comments to German 8pqrs

Do you have time to make fast 4 files for me?

———————-

Kind Colmant

Should I encounter any problems I would let you know immediately.

Best Kristof

Kristof

Thank you for help. We are in a rush, you know.

Please find the first files attached.

What I would like you to do, is to:
1. Spellcheck the files
2. To resolve issues found while vetting. They are listed both in the attached Word files and marked as comments inside the files. Some files just have 1-2 comments, so they are just marked inside the files.
– Please resolve the issues and delete the comments from the Excel files, so that the outcome would be a clean file.

If you are spellchecking in Excel, please select only the German column before pressing F7 (short cut for spellchecking) otherwise it takes twice longer because Excel goes word by word and will sure jump also to English column.

You can upload the result back here. Please note, this system does not accept excel files – you will need to compress them.

When done, please send me your hours report.

Please confirm receipt.

———————-

Please find the first two attached.

———————-

The files were received and I can open them all right.

Should I have any questions I will come back to you.

Cheers
Kristof

———————-

Please find the files attached.
If you have more files to check, please feel free to assign them to me.
I´ll send the hours report when finishing all files for today.

Heiko

———————-

please receive re-vetted files German 8y,v,x.

Best.

M
(Valeria is almost ready, to be sure, I would prefer to re-vet files after her with lots of different strings)

———————-

I’m done translating the 18r file, now I need to double-check everything because many pre-translated segments are just incomprehensible…
I hope to finish it within 1h/1h30.

———————-

I’m through the file German_JD_100201_Localize_Vetted __8s

There is only one issue where the translator wasn’t sure and marked it with a “+” accordingly:

“They’re numerous and not afraid of Espers, so you may be dangerous.”

(The next sentence is:
“Skysong skills are the natural enemy of evil spirits, you may ask for a talisman from my master Puhan to protect yourself.”)

I think the English sentence should read:
“They’re numerous and not afraid of Espers, so you may be in danger.”
and if you don’t object I will change the German sentence accordingly.

Cheers, Kristof

Please check which files were proofread by me. I wondered how fast spellchecking on this 13s files was and found out that I already proofread them.
When proofreading I ALWAYS spellcheck them before handing them out. So I can´t charge anything but solving issues for these 13s files.
Please have a look at the googlesheet for what files are proofread by me (except 12a and 1d to 5d, assigned to me but not proofread).

heiko

Here come the next. Please confirm!

———————-

Heiko

I know you spellchecked them while proofreading. But I still send them for final spellchecking, because sometimes when transferred from Transit, hyphens disappear, and words glue together. It takes really few time to check this kind of file, so it’s worth the investment.
So it’s okay.

———————-

Super, received.
Please do the following: Create on FTP a folder – Re-Vetted, and two subfolders – German and French. Please double all finished files there – I have very unstable electricity today, and this will be a backup.

Can you do more?

———————-

If you still can work, please go over really fast over

‘s files
JD_100201_Localize_8d

JD_100201_Localize_8e

JD_100201_Localize_8g

JD_100201_Localize_8h

JD_100201_Localize_8i

JD_100201_Localize_8j

Not serious revetting, but just checking his issues, resolving if possible, and if you spot anything – to correct.

———————-

1.I ll do the folders.I ll copy all re-vet files there.
2. Yes, I can do more, please send me.

M

———————-

Kristof

I don’t object, but I think the sentence should read:

“They’re numerous and not afraid of Espers, so IT may be dangerous.”

Not “you are in danger”.

But to your consideration.

———————-

All the files were done and uploaded. Waiting for new tasks.

Nice to hear that.
German files:
JD_100201_Localize_18m
JD_100201_Localize_18p
JD_100201_Localize_18q
JD_100201_Localize_18t

In these files there are few things to look for:

1. Please see that the file is well aligned = that the English cell actually corresponds to the German cell. I understand that you don’t speak German, but usually it’s guessable.

2. there are many commands and strings: ^fdba, ^ ffffff and many others. It is very important to see that these commands are located in same places as in the English texts, around same expressions.

3. Line breaks. If you click on a cell in MS Excel, you will see exactly how is the text aligned inside the cell. Number of rows inside the cell should correspond to English source (Alt+Enter to make line break in MSExcel). You should see that all lines are present and no text is missing

4. Sometimes you have a Word, command and the hyphen and a Word again (all capitalized words). Like this:
Word^fffff-Otherword
In such case the hyphen should not be deleted. If you have doubts, leave a comment.

Please confirm receipt!
