Yes, your file is uploaded. You can actually check it yourself. After you click “Upload TR” to the right from the black column a menu appears. There is an option “check upload”. Click it and look for your file in the list which appears.

, I’ve just uploaded the proofread version of 01_alpha reps. The stylistic quality was high, in general, but the translator did very negligent proofreading and checking of their own work. There were several wrong translations, many of them distorting the meaning. Also, little attention was paid to grammar/orthographic correctness and there were also some grave mixups and neglections of glossary entries.

Actually it didn’t work. If the file was uploaded correctly, you see it in the list of uploaded files right away. Did you have a message below the uploading form on FS that your file was uploaded correctly?
To upload the file you should go to http://translationstop.com/files/pindex.html, click Upload TR, then attach your file using the form in the bottom right corner. Password to upload is standart – 001. Then you can use the option “check upload” to the right from the black column. If you did everything right your file must appear in this list right away.

I would like to ask translators to please submit glossary issues seperately from pretranslation/proofreading issues, if possible. I have also created an Excel file that they may use. , there seems to be a misunderstanding due to new “spotchecking” procedure.
Spotchecking means super-fast proofreading. Allot 10-15 minutes. Look for untranslated, partially translated, and +. Resolve them. Is there still time? Use the filter to see just the translator edited segments and scan them for errors. Fix them. Save, write down anything noteworthy about the translation, write down the time, and move on to the next one.
We understand that this will not give us superior quality work. We explained that to the client. But the client refuses to provide us with the budget for a proper proofreading. So be it. They get what they pay for.
With that in mind please look again at

Please resolve at least the + signs and untranslated segments.
PS: A full proofread means a regular proofreading like what we did with Jade Dynasty. If we want a report and just it, we’ll ask for a quality report. Sorry for the confusion.

Gunther, I repeated every step you did and I don’t see any errors there. What you did is exactly right too.
What’s missing? It looks like both PXF are there.
When you Receive something, Transit closes that project and loads the new file. It has to, because you just Received a different project. While Transit can have multiple files in a single project open, it can only open one project at a time. We deliberately use different project names for the glossaries so it doesn’t overwrite your actual assignment.
So to get back to your assignment, all you need to do is go to File -> Open -> Project and pick 10002_5 again. Then load file 271 again. And you should be able to proceed.
