Please take a look at file 2c I’m attaching. Шt is a vetted file, but there are items longer then 31 characters in lines 19, 86, 2036, 2117, 2181, 2246, 2294, 2310, 2374, and their doubles of the opposite gender.
I am attaching the vetted file, please make the changes on it and upload to the usual proofread uploading system.
If you don’t have time, please let me know i will try to find someone else to do it.

Just wanted to say that I still haven’t finished file 6a. So far nearly half the terms of the file were ‘false’. So it is still quicker than checking manually but the process is quite slow. I haven’t checked further if the next files are as bad as this one but if they are, there is no way I can finish 6bcd today.
So it might be a good idea to give 6d to someone else. I will keep you updated of my progress anyway. Hopefully, there won’t be as many ‘false’ in the next files.

I do have a problem with the merged file.
Column C is empty from row 49834 to the end of the file.
No formulas in the windows, no ‘false’, ‘correct’ nor ‘N/A’.
I have tried closing the file and reopening it and then updating the values, but it didn’t change anything. I have also tried rewriting the formula but nothing seems to work.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?
I am going to carry on manually for the time being, tell me if you can find a way to sort this out.

Which of the files are you talking about? Are the other files okay? Perhaps you could get started on those while I take a crack at the one you are mentioning.

Carine” Okay, I’ll look at it now. Will take me a bit to figure it out though. Did you try ctrl A (select all) then F9? Works in Word. I think you need to update the formula somewhere no? Do not alter the formula. Was it working before? What version of Excel do you have?
So are you saying that before that row it is working? So you have at least some parts you can work on where it works? I’ll try to solve the remaining parts in the meantime.

I have done one file in about an hour, so I am confident I can deliver all of them before 3PM GMT. I will send them on a rolling basis if you want, I am just waiting for Alexandre’s reply to send first one back.

What I did is I downloaded the merged file again to check and it does the same so I guess the problem was there from the beginning.
It looks as if the formula stops at row 49833 and is not applied to the rest of the column.
I have done everything up to that row, so there are no more parts with the correct/false indication, which is why I am now checking each single term, as I don’t know which ones are correct.
I have just tried ctrl A and F9. Not working either. It looks as if the formula needs ‘extending’. I know it says B65536 in the formula but it isn’t applied until that row. Not on my computer at least.

I do not know what “merged file” you are talking about. I’m not sure how was organising all this but it has given me ideas how to set things up better. In any case, please tell me where exactly you received this file and what is its exact name.

Carine” Where the formula stops, does it continue afterwards (the formulas in the cells)? What I suggest is you select the LAST TWO cells where the formula works. Then left click on the little dot or plus sign at the bottom right of your selection. You then drag that down a little bit with your left mouse button and it should fill the formula in series. You can also drag down with your right mouse button and choose from the selection. Then perhaps update the sheet or something. If it works, simply do it again but drag all the way to the bottom. Let me know if this works.

Carine” You can also look in the forumla and see how it should progress. You need to FILL SERIES, so perhaps try it with the right mouse button and select that option. You do NOT want to just copy them.

I tried the second one but the file is taking ages to update.

Fill without formatting. It does the values only.
I guess you have low ram on your computer? If so it is advisable to shut all other programs whenever trying to work with such large files as this. That might be why it is calculating slow for you.

I haven’t selected column C until the bottom of the file but it looks like it has worked this time ! Yeah ! Fingers crossed everything will go ok from now on.

At last, I have finished file 6a. There are a few terms that are longer than 31 characters, but only because of the gender signs or little shapes at the beginning or at the end of the term.
Do I have to shorten them or not?

I have uploaded file 5a, but it is not final: I have left tracked changes and highlights in yellow + the macro for Proper names which are over 31 characters because if I change these proper names you will have them as FALSE, so I was not sure what to do with them. I hope Alexandre or
can look at the file, otherwise if you need it clean I’ll do my best to complete the changes. THere are NOT many outstanding >31 characters limits in the file, just 5 or 6 for them to check. I have just finished file 5b, it was a nightmare as so much needed to be changed, I’ll do my best to finish the 2 other ones before deadline, but if somebody could take one of the files (5c or d), I would be grateful.
