The work is not proofreading, but spellchecking, which is far less demanding. You will need to spellcheck in Excel using the inbuilt spellchecker, and resolve several issues which may have come up during vetting. Usually the issues concern strangely located hyphens, which reoccurred when the files were exported to Excel.

As to your question, ASAP is for “As Soon As Possible” and is used in moments of extreme need and rush.
If there is no period in English, but there is one in target, you delete it and write a comment “deleted period in target”
There is no problem with empty lines – as long as the line is empty both in source and target.

What I would like you to do, is to:
1. Spellcheck the files
2. To resolve issues found while vetting. They are listed both in the attached Word files and marked as comments inside the files.
– Please resolve the issues and delete the comments from the Excel files, so that the outcome would be a clean file.
– I am expecting that files 12abcj will have lot of “glued” words because of hyphens which disappeared. Please correct that.
Please note that “Sunstream City” should be translated as “Sunstream”. When updating this term, please do not forget to change the sentence accordingly (I guess it’s clear, but I still feel a need to remind).
If you are spellchecking in Excel, please select only the French column before pressing F7 (short cut for spellchecking) otherwise it takes twice longer because Excel goes word by word and will sure jump also to English column.
You can upload the result back here. Please note, this system does not accept excel files – you will need to compress them.
When done, please send me your hours report.
