One of the "charity" websites I want to develop, but which will require some
cash and time. So far I've put together the
payment reputation website, where is also explained the next project I want
to put together where concerned consumers can refer to and post comments and who
want to make responsible purchase decisions in favour of companies who care for
their employees, the environment, and the third world workers in their overseas
manufacturing plants.
every citizen can propose any idea to get voted on, and submits it to a website where everyone who is interested can read it and vote on it;
all important ideas must be voted on by the general population
every person who votes logs into the website with their username and password and votes with a simple click. They must vote according to their social security number, so each person will only be allowed to vote on a topic once. For those who do not like internet, perhaps they could phone in and make their votes through touchtone;
since not everyone may have the time to study each vote, they can give their voting rights to anyone they choose by proxy, taking it away and voting on particular topics any time they like;
government should run like a business, not changing personnel every four years depending on what political party was voted in;
if we have such a system, do we really need senators, congress and all that?
the president should be voted in the same manner, and people should see the running results of the vote, which should be running for at least a week. If they see that a certain president is not winning, they should be able to change their vote to their second choice etc.
anyone should be able to run for election and not require a billion dollars. I think it should start on a local level, the winner of each local moving up to the next regional level, like hockey teams moving their way up, until it reaches the national level. Perhaps as much as 7 people could be running for presidency. It should have nothing to do with political party but all to do with the ideas they propose and their credentials.
a president should definitely be able to be fired, if the general population votes against him/her.
