KENAX Translation Service - at the bottom of which you can also check for active projects.
To submit a translation sample, please follow these instructions. We are
using the Panasonic tender to test translators from English into many languages, but you may find
other projects and language combinations we are testing for.
- Login to your account with us or create a new one.
- Fill in the Translator Applications form (at least the language
combinations and your price) if you have not yet, so that we can approach you
with future projects
- Go to the Active Tenders link, then the "Bid on Tenders" button, then
click on a project with your language combination (usually Panasonic), and
finally press the "View and Bid" button.
- First choose the language combination from the "Bid on language pair"
window, then fill in the information (price etc.). If you hold your mouse over
the blue titles on the left an information window may pop up, to help you
further if you need.
- In the Description window you will find a
link to the translation
sample (about 90 words long). Click
on that (or one of the previous two links on this page) and then write your
translation into the Translation Sample window. If you like, you can first
write it in Word (to spellcheck) and then paste it into that window.
- Once done filling in this page, press Bid. You can go back through the
same procedures above to double check that your sample and information is
there. Make sure to select the proper language combination in the "Bid on
language pair" window to view your submitted sample and information.
Please do not send a sample by email, or ask us to send you the translation
sample by email. We have made this online system because it is extremely time
consuming for us to process all the translation samples, submitted information,
then forward the samples to the assessors etc. The only way your sample will be
assessed is if it is submitted online like this, as the assessors view and
assess the samples through the same system.
The languages we are currently testing translators in follow, although you
may find additional projects with other language combinations through the Active
