Right: this was historically the "public toilets", so I guess the below was some sort of drainage. Perhaps a curved wall with urinals standing against them? Had to take a pic. |

Right: I overheard someone say that, when the Ottomans invaded the island, the army chopped off the heads of all the statues. I guess the bodies were nice enough, but the faces looked too European. |
