1) I grew up in an extremely aethiestic family, not even aware of it etc., but I felt a close relationship with God and my awareness of him was as or more intimate than my own breathing, so it made as much sense to talk about that as a child would about breathing, which they never do. So it was a bit of a shock when I started realizing that other people think differently about this. Long story but I fell out of the next and eventually came back around, but I never went through that indoctrination like so many “fallen catholics”, as I like to call them, went through. like I had one friend who was so sickened how they made him feel guilty of stepping on bugs. this guilt is part of the control system used by the establishment. when Jesus graced the earth, who do you think wanted to kill him? The established religion of the time, because they realized he was threatening their system of control. and it will be the same when he comes back – a long haired hippy freak preaching about love. I consider christianity like the swaztika, which for thousands of years was a symbol of love and harmony, but was hijacked by assholes as part of their power control game. so I can see why you are sickened by it, but it is because of this indoctrination etc., and the falsity of many christians. “Many will call on the name of the Lord but not be chosen”. I’ve read the good book from a fresh perspective and had my own experiences with God, so I don’t carry these jaded feelings and am not automatically biased in that way. But roughly 85% of the world are like sheeple in a way, and whether you place them in a Christian upbringing or atheist, their underlying core in a way is self survival (selfishness in a way) and to fit in, so compliant. Scared little bugs who will imitate what they believe is the norm. Go to church and dress up all pretty and white and do what they’re told because they believe they will go to heaven for eternity. But the bible is quite clear “that you must love the truth in order to find it” and all these people are just imitating for selfish motives and not walking the walk. My hope in you is I see that you are a lover of truth and understand that all this hypocracy really bothers you, which is totally understandable. I’ve just been trying to show you things from my fresh perspective, but have always met immediate hostility, which I consider a product that your heart is in the right place but mind not. Thinking that one’s nation is the best, that they are righteous and justified to perform such brutality. All these people, as far as I’m concerned, are totally missing the message and responding to base emotions and pride. They are not walking the walk. “Many will follow the broad path to destruction and narrow is the path through the pearly gates”. After going to a buddhist meditation retreat I bought a book from the famous monk here, the book comparing Buddhism and Christianity. It showed parallels between the two and you could feel how the monk was angry when he explained how most of the masses on both sides are stupid and look at literal meanings and totally miss the divine message spoken by Buddha and Christ, just written differently from a different perspective. Muslims believe in the same God of Abraham, they believe Jesus is a prophet but not the son of God. This makes them evil and worth killing? Certainly not, but the masses are concerned about their own comfort and willing to turn a blind eye. Let them believe that they will spend eternity in heaven, but my understanding, as the book says: “The kingdom of heaven is not over there in a distant valley or mountain top that you should have to find it, but it is in your heart.” It’s the right here right now that Buddha found, and most Christians just don’t get it.
