I beleive that I have lost my salvation over a year and a half ago. The fear and tourment is hard to take. I was saved for about 15 years before i did the unthinkable. I let a root af birretness in and wound up committing adultery. I lost my mind. Since then I am unable to feel Gods presence. I have tried everything I could think of to come back to God. But I thinks I greived His Holy Spirit so bad that he won&#8217;t come back. I have repented and called evveryprayerline I could find to pray with me. I think if I would have done this bafore I was born again I would still have a chance. Please help me. I don&#8217;t know what else to do. I have anexity all the time. I have nightmares and feel as though there is no hope for me now. Do you know of nyone else who went through this and God took them back? It has been over a year and a half now. I am so ashamed, can not ofrgive my self. Wonder why would God still cll me His child if ZI did not remain faithful to Him or my Husband. I hate what I have done to my life. Please pray for me and let me know what God is saying to you about me. I have read all kind of sccriptures that say you could lose your salvation. I need help.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hello Lisa,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>sounds like you are guilt ridden and the burden of this guilt is stronger than your faith in God. God does not hold grudges like you appear to think and it is your own sin which separates you from God \u2013 not his lack of love for you. Sounds like you need to learn to forgive yourself. If you have repented from your ways there is no reason why God wouldn&#8217;t take you back. God is like the sun, which constantly emits its rays of light\/love in every direction. If the light does not fall on us, it is because we are standing in the shade (continue to sin). It is good that you feel bad for what you have done, because it will motivate you to stay repentant, but if it is too much, it will cripple you, as it appears it has. Therefore, I would suggest that you continue to say, &#8220;Forgive me father, for I have sinned,&#8221; pray to receive the Holy Spirit to guide you, and have faith in God&#8217;s great, gracious and forgiving love to take you back in his loving arms. Keep doing this to stay repentant, and let your faith in God grow greater than your guilt or anger at yourself. Surrender yourself to God and move things towards a positive direction, instead of a negative one, which is self-blame and your unwillingness to forgive yourself. After all, it is not God&#8217;s intention to burden us with the yoke of guilt but rather to set us free, towards &#8220;the freedom that can be found in Christ&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Good luck!
