1. Click the start button.

2. Point to “All Programs,” then “Accessories,” then “System Tools,” then click “Backup.”

3. Click the blue, underlined text that says, “Advanced Mode,” then click “Next.”

4. Click the “Backup Wizard (Advanced)” button.

5. Click “Next.”

6. Select “Only back up the System State data,” then click “Next.”

7. Click “Browse.”

8. Select “My Documents” as the “Save in” destination, then click “Save” (You may change the name of the backup file, if you like.).

9. Click “Next.”

10. Click “Finish,” then wait.

11. When the backup process is complete, click “Close.”

12. Close the backup utility by clicking the “X” button.
